words can be 3–12 letters (3-letter words only in hard+). higher tiers add more difficult words into the mix.

· easy — ~4k, friendly words · normal — ~26k, the recognizable middle · hard — ~51k, words you wouldn't think of · nasty! — ~99k, everything actually used · webster — ~152k, the dictionary, junk and all · evil mode — the word hides in the largest set of words still consistent with your guesses

how fast the parts are drawn.

· slow — if you're a patient player · steady — keeps pace · fast — for hangman speedrunners

extras — none of these change what counts as a win.

· hints — reveal a letter for one stroke · solve — type the whole word; wrong costs a stroke · textures — each tool draws like itself · tally — guesses left as a fraction (7/8) · compact — alphabet in 2 rows instead of 3 · words left — how many words still fit the board · letters — which word lengths are in play; lengths a bank doesn’t stock are grayed out; word bank counts what’s left
